With so many workout gimmicks on the market, it's easy to conclude that these at home workout programs don't work. Or for some it's easier just to rationalize that these programs are not special; all you need to do is eat less and move more. But unfortunately most people do not know exactly how to exercise to the point of pushing their body to maximize a calorie burn nor do they know what foods to eat and how many calories a day they should be consuming to drop weight safely. Beach Body's eating plan has you eating foods from MICHI's LADDER, MICHI's LADDER has a 5 tier system with foods placed in the first tier as being ideal for you to eat while following the workout plan. Some foods that are on the first tier include; apples, avocados, broccoli, strawberries, non-fat cottage cheese, olive oil, peppers, nonfat refried beans, brown rice, sweet potatoes and much more. I cannot list all the foods but the first tier has over 70 foods to choose from. On the tier two you will see bananas, blueberries, skinless chicken, low-fat cottage cheese, granola, mangoes, 1% milk, squid, whole wheat tortillas, turkey breast and much more. Each tier has more foods to eat from but is on a lower rung of the ladder because the foods at the first rung are the more ideal alternatives.
If you can stick to clean eating and not skipping any of the workouts; you will lose unwanted body fat. That is certain. The reason why this plan works is because when people go from having a very high carb (high sugar) diet and suddenly start increasing more lean protein into their diet, the body starts using up that stored fat first.
So what can you expect as far as the workouts are concerned? You can expect to get your butt kicked. Even people that regularly workout will break a sweat and feel some soreness after-wards. To combat some of the soreness makes sure to do the stretching that the program leads you through. It is even best to do some additionally stretching after-wards. Drink lots of water.
